Day 9

The highlight today was Crater Lake. Oh my! This is an incredible sight. As Mary pointed out, it's like the Grand Canyon--you have to see it to understand it. These pictures don't do it justice. Note, there is no color retouching on that blue water. That's pretty much what it looks like!

Crater Lake looks fantastic. I'm enjoying the pics and commentary everybody. Uncle S and I just returned from the coast of Maine where we hung around Acadia National Park. Do you have a map so you can find that? The wildlife we encountered most frequently around this area (out of the park) was lobster. Guess what we did when we found this animal...Love, Aunti Pin
